With two studio works published, «Trapezoide» in 2019 and «Nuevo orden mágico» in 2022, as well as multiple concerts around the peninsula and Europe, Espiricom officiate a kind of tribal and orientalising avant-rock in which trance electronics and a highly stimulating symbolist lyricism converge.
The approach to music of Alfonso Alfonso (Artificiero, Nepal napalm, Schwarz), José Luís López (Builthenburnt, Crudo pimiento, Nepal napalm) and Julián Egea (Volga) entails a forceful initial impact, after the psychedelia of which we unveil certain and challenging suggestions, which make us become engrossed.
Stunned, hypnotised and induced into a dance of inescapable angular contortion, the enveloping rock of the Murcia trio transcends genres and defies categories. Espiricom’s music is, above all, an exercise in sublime abstract conceptualism.
