Walking Lands release a new split EP with Shonen Bat. As a result of a long-standing friendship and mutual admiration, this «Split» was the perfect excuse to finish and record new songs that both bands were working on.
Recorded by Shonen Bat themselves at CSA Las Vegas in Malaga, «The kiss» talks about the nostalgic perception we have of certain moments in our lives and how they are magnified over time; «Words» reflects on the loss of friends, and «Is this thing still on» talks about the people in the DIY scene who were just passing through.
For their part, Walking Lands recorded with Ernest Gómez at his Estudio Delapaz in Barcelona. In «Wait» they address the importance of finding a common language that improves our relationships, «Nakatsugawa» encapsulates the happiness between two people who meet again in a completely unfamiliar space and «The water holds me» describes water as a substance in which we experience reality in a different way.
