Les conches velasques release new EP. Recorded and mixed with C. Barros (Picore), mastered by Jose Guerrero (Telomante, Betunizer) and with cover art by Javier Aquilué (Kiev cuando nieva), «La harta. Parte 1» includes three new songs with texts from the poems «Balada de un día de julio» by F. G. Lorca and «Invitación al aire» by R. Alberti, as well as a particular version of Radio Tarifa’s adaptation of the traditional Greek song ‘sabah’.
European travellers who visited Aragon in the 14th century were astonished by the skill and industriousness of the Mudéjar peasants: thanks to their efforts, Zaragoza was historically known as ‘la harta’, because in those times it was exceptional for a city not to go short of food. Their ingenuity in employing the most advanced techniques and in modifying and improving the irrigation network meant that three enormous market gardens were available.
In the year 1448 after the Hegira, a coalition of supervillains and techno-magnates rules Aragon as a territory of sacrifice. Against skill and industriousness, their yearning to devour the things for using and the things for looking at. Like nature defending itself, exalted proclamations for the communal rejoicing of the profane trance. May god confound them.
